4

CONS
1
Animal Welfare Concerns: There are concerns about the physical and psychological health of animals in captivity. Small enclosures can lead to health issues like pacing and infant mortality, and animals may suffer from clinical depression, OCD, and anxiety.
2
Limited Educational Impact: Some studies suggest that zoos may not effectively promote attitude change, education, or interest in conservation among visitors, as many visitors already have a good understanding of ecological concepts before visiting the zoo.
